- keep control over the quality of the bikes in the challenging terrain of Ladakh.
On the other hand, the MBA argues for more flexibility, saying that allowing bikes from outside will help tourism and give travelers more options. This disagreement has led to incidents like the intentional damage of bikes rented from Manali and protests by Manali bike operators.

In that case, you must have a No Objection Certificate (NOC) stating that the bike owner has permitted you to use the bike for touring.
#2 Myth: Renting a Bike from Manali is Cheaper
Fact: Rental prices may vary depending on the season, bike model, and duration of the rental. Sometimes, renting from Manali might be more affordable, but only sometimes. It is important to compare prices and conditions with multiple operators.
#3 Myth: You Need Separate Permits for Each Region

The Rules of Leh Ladakh
